The lunchtime BBC News today, ‘ the Guvvermunt has announced there is a strong possibility that there will a shortage of apostrophes within days of leaving the EU, a guvvermunt official has asked people not to panic buy apostrophes and remain calm. Contingency plans are being put into place to use commas if apostrophes do run out’

I think I'd rather wait for news that had a shred of evidence holding it together not be thoroughly frightened of disaster that might never happen. If they don't know for sure don't say anything.

Oh dear! Not again.

I heard this last year and stocked up. My cupboard is full of them and you can quote me on that.
