The former totally useless the latter nearly as useless.
Eventually Thatcher who destroyed the social cohesion of the country.
Personally I think that since the war Britain has been a nation of lions led by donkeys no wonder you are in the mess you are in now you didn't deserve the so called leaders you ended up with who had absolutely no vision for the country whatsoever.

It's why we are in such a mess now. Suddenly they are expected to do something they are incapable of. Not just the PM but the whole bloody lot of the them. They are like a load of children that have never left the classroom, so know nothing about the outside world.The one thing you can say about Thatcher (I was not a fan at the time) is that she was never mediocre. Her downfall was the poll tax but other than that, she always put Britain first and sadly that has not happened since.
