Jesting aside, that poor sheep must have been in a bad way to lay with it's eyes closed up against a stranger in a vehicle like that.
A healthy adult sheep would have fought and struggled.



I had a few sheep when I was younger.
This particular one, Penny, was jet black as a lamb.
I bottle reared from tiny, so she was very tame.

She was such a character, and would jump in my old van and come out with me and the dogs if I didn't stop her.
She hated being left behind.

The dog I had managed to get off an ignorant pig who was going to shoot him.
That lovely loyal dog ended up living with me for 14 years and was never far from me, brilliant little fella, a Goldie/Collie cross.
