Re: 5am
I was reading about this today.
They reckon it will be the last such moon until 2029.
I wonder how many of will still be around to see the next one . .
Dongle dear, it says in my paper this:
"At 4.41 a.m. the Earth will begin to cast a shadow across the full moon as it starts to block light reaching it from the sun.
At 5.15 a.am. the Earth will line up completely between the sun and the moon, meaning the eclipse will be at it's peak.
The sight will give the moon a dull red colour, known as a Blood Moon.
"Unlike a solar eclipse, lunar eclipses are safe to look at with the naked eye.
It will take another 30 mins after its peak for the alignment to end, finishing at 5.45 a.m.
"The next solar eclipse visible from Britain and Ireland will not take place until December 2029."
So there ya go.
