James Last

Were you ever a fan of the James Last Orchestra? I certainly was a lifetime ago. Just been playing catchup with some of my old albums bringing back so many memories.

Yes - I used to like his music. By all accounts he was a nice person as well.

On seeing the name James Last it brought back many happy memories of my parents, this was their kind of music.




Along with that name another couple sprang to mind for the same reason – Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, another of their favourites and Bert Kaempfert, again with many memories for me. You probably also know both these. Thanks anyway for nudging nice memories of my parents from long, long ago.
