I'm looking forward to that. Our neighbour, two doors down, is a paramedic and I'm expecting him to come outside and take a bow!

Re: Clap for NHS

I think it will be quite an emotional time, it's very different circumstances but it reminds me the Millenium, I remember the fireworks going off and everyone came outside and celebrated, that too was an emotional time.

Neighbours look like they are going to video their effort.

I hope it's a success, the NHS deserve all the support they can get.

Re: Clap for NHS

A surprisingly good turn out in my road. I had visions of being the only one and looking a bit silly but there were plenty of cheers and whistles along with the clapping. I hope the NHS workers heard it.

Well done everyone!!

Think they will have round here. Although this only a small close, someone on the next close had a great firework display - brilliant.

Re: Clap for NHS

My road was fairly quiet, only a couple of neighbours (including the paramedic), myself and a few further up the road out of sight ventured out. Clapping and cheers could be heard in the distance though.

Re: Clap for NHS

Good turnout in my village too. Heard a lot of applause and cheering all around but unseen. Just my immediate neighbours in my road came out. Shame on the rest of them.

My sister around the corner said it was only her and 1 other she was aware of but also heard those around us.

Very emotional.
