Yours looks to be the same specie as mine. My Parents bought it for us as a house warming gift when we first moved here, never realising it would grow so big. It was supposed to be a small one.

Hi Glanny, sorry for delay.
No it wasn't a Cleome, I think it was one of my patio roses called "Raspberry Royale". It was smothered in lovely red blooms but eventually succumbed to bad Black Spot and had to go.
