Carden Park Hotel

I have won a two night break for two there
It looks lovely but I wondered if there was a catch
The stay includes breakfasts but no evening meals.
Having stayed in many hotels I know some will over-price their food and drinks in order to claw more money out of people.
It looks like there are no alternative eateries in the near vicinity either.
Has anyone been there?
What are the prices like?

Re: Carden Park Hotel

Congratulations on your win Rhian I had a look and it appears there are a number of bars and restaurants as part of the compex so you should be able to get something to eat without spending a fortune.

I can't see any bad publicity about the place, so you should have a nice break. I think they expect to get their money back by selling you lots of drinks. Just stay off the balcony..... it's far too cold.

Re: Carden Park Hotel

It's one of those off-peak deals...
They only give them away to fill up empty rooms during the week I'm sure of it!
Small print says Sunday to Thursday
