Passengers
A rather excellent Sc-Fi film on Film 4 at the moment. If you haven't seen it yet, I can heartily recommend it. (I have it on DVD).
It concerns a large automated space-ship with thousands of colonists in suspended animation on their way to a new planet some hundred years of space flight away. Following some catastrophe, one of the life-support pods malfunctions and one of the passengers is woken up. He's all alone but can access some of the resources on the ship such as food and drink. Set out like a luxury liner, his choices of cuisine are limited because he's travelling like the old steerage classes on liners of old.
Desperately lonely, he reactivates the pod of another passenger, a beautiful young woman and lies to her that her pod also too malfunctioned. They are still 93 years away from their destination and can't return to their stasis pods as once de-activated, can't be activated again.
I won't reveal the story any more or give away the ending, but give it a look if you have a mind to. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
