Where can I see ringneck parakeets

There are several flocks of the non-native GREEN RINGNECK PARAKEET in the UK, believed to be descendants of aviary escapees.
Anone out there able to direct me to somewhere I can observe them?

There is a huge flock in Gunnersbury Park, Chiswick, W. London - noisy buggers!

The Lensbury Hotel/Club Teddington - we were advised to keep windows closed in case they visited whilst we were out!

I have seen them in Ealing Common; however, the largest flock I've seen was in and about Teddington Lock, walking a canal towpath.

Yes thats a ringneck.

Thanks for all the help & advice.

I am disabled & mostly get around in a wheelchair, so am limited where I can travel.
Would some kind soul give a specific location, where I am sure to see some birds

thanks, then I can tick it off of my basket list, name of a nearby pub would be good too

Re: Where can I see ringneck parakeets

I would think you could trundle along the towpath at Teddington Lock.
The Anglers is the pub
I'm sure the local council will be one which can give you info about accessibility ... but I'm not sure which it would be for the Twickenham/Teddington area.

As I said we saw them from inside the Lensbury Club - they were visible outside our room, so on the river side and from the front of the building on the Club playing fields.

You can't miss them - noisy souls!

(The facilities - bar/restaurant etc - are open to non members/non residents too)
