Possibly not enough data yet about protection after two vaccines. But they are finding that those who had prior infection seem to have enhanced protection with just one dose.
I was referring to the hospital admission Annie, rather than the ones who died.

I know OGF, I was just pointing out that the admissions in the study were people who had only been given one dose. But the study itself indicates that even one vaccine is working well to greatly reduce hospital admissions. So two should really enable us to get back to normal. I certainly hope so to make it all worthwhile.

Well not really Annie.....Hasn't lockdown, wearing face coverings in all public places and the approaching summer had any effect? I thought the vaccines prevented hospital admissions and deaths? If the figures for hospital admissions remain low throughout next winter then I will agree with the study, but it's a bit too early to be making wild assumptions from such a small study under the circumstances....

No more to tell you at the moment, Mups. She seems happy enough and hasn't had any adverse reaction from the vaccination.

Re: Covid-19 Vaccinations

There are anomalies, My Wife had covid last April, and has this week still tested positive for antibodies. We who were with her in that period last year, and took no precautions showed no antibodies via the same test although we had symptoms at the same time.
Speaking for myself, I have had the two jabs, that has been tough for a sceptic, but, I have MY logical reasons for doing so, not what any talking head is telling me to do.

Thanks Foxy, many folks have not been close to the epicentre.
