Although the amount we sent it unbelievable, it looks like the United Kingdom and the United States have given the same amount per capita

Now Chile is coping with its own disaster -these tectonic plates have a lot to answer for.

The fund raising in this country is still continuing. I helped at a charity event on Sunday, which was for medical aid for Haiti and we raised over £30,000, and it is still coming in via the internet too. I know of several other events still to take place, so it is still in people's minds, which is good.
