Mike know how you feel I was £13 pounds last week for 24 second class stamps. Thanks Doc for the Christmas wishes. Met my nieces for lunch and got their presents so I think that's me finished.

As Jess said May, I hope the Vampire Lady wasn't too thirsty. The needle was hoooooow long ??? Gulp. Just back from P.O. That's all the cards away. Never been so organised! Being stuck in with this pesky cough/cold has had its advantages I guess. A time for quiet contemplation Myrtle - visiting your Mum's grave. Just remember the good times - as I'm sure you do. Thoughts with you. Just slurping milky coffee then more Benylin. Ho-hum. Really warm out there today. It makes a pleasant change!

Well I'm back from the vampires,lol...She couldn't find a vein in left arm and hit a nerve where hellish pain shot right down My arm...now being the Daughter of an amature boxer,My right fist automatically drew back to sock Her in the gob.. ,stopped just in time luckily....don't know who was more shocked..Her or Me..both had a good laugh thank gawd!.. She got the 3 vials without any bother from other arm...Hope I don't have to go back there any time soon.

Afternoon Folks,I thought You might be interested in watching the series 'In Plain Sight' at 9pm Tonight on STV..It's about the serial killer Peter Manuel who as it turned out lived less than a Mile up the hill from where I lived when I was a Girl..scary to think He lived so close by and We could have passed Him in the street.

I agree about someone like that living close by .... I lived in the area where Ian Brady and Myra Hindley found their victims .... unnerving to say the least !!!

Grey and miserable day here . Have been too busy to notice it much as I had all the last minute things to do before OH gets back from New Zealand .
I'm so tired now I can't even be bothered making myself a meal this evening . Might just have tea and toast .
