Are brits welcome as tourists anymore??

As there seems some controversy about booking a new holiday
abroad this year? Perhaps we should consider if other countries
will allo us to enter their territories at all due to our pariah status
due to our continueing high rates of infection rates with covid?
I believe some countries have allready applied sanctions to uk
visitors and this practice could spread thus removing any chance
of brits to travel for the next year at least??

It is because the media is making such a fuss over it any other country seeing our news broadcasts will think the worst.
Turn on the tele news time and all it is about is covid 19 , all interviews with people and if they had caught it or not- all the services about how they protect themselves-the NHS in depth camera hospital interviews-the government daily statements on TV. How often do we see other countries media broadcast to the world so much? we don't.

We ARE the lepers of Europe:

The UK has suffered the second-highest rate of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic after Spain, according to excess mortality figures.

The UK has registered 59,537 more deaths than usual since the week ending March 20, indicating that the virus has directly or indirectly killed 891 people per million.

Until Thursday, the UK had a higher rate of death than in any country for which high-quality data exist. However, Spain made a revision to its mortality estimates, adding 12,000 to its toll of excess deaths from coronavirus in a one-off adjustment to 43,000. This increased its death rate to 921 per million.

The absolute number of excess deaths in the UK is the highest in Europe, and second only to the US in global terms, according to data collected by the Financial Times.

The country fares no better on another measure: the percentage increase in deaths compared with normal levels, where the UK is the worst hit in Europe and behind only Peru internationally.

Well Spain isn’t welcoming us and the worst ones out there are the British expats on nice pensions some of whom are the most selfish bunch of whingers I have ever heard.
The Spanish on the other hand want our business but naturally are wary with all the crap coming from the British media .

`We` haven't been welcomed in some foreign holiday resorts because we have a nation of young piss-heads who think nothing of getting plastered every hour of every day and leaving the locals to clear up the mess.

Not every tourist is young or a piss head .

That's nothing new......nothing to do with the "yoof" of today.

Lager louts and hooligans are less prevalent nowadays than in the 80s.
