Is This Christmas Section Going To Be Empty This Year?

If they cancel Christmas, what can be added to this Christmas Section?
‘The year Santa was banned’?
‘The year we didn’t see our friends and family’?
‘The year when we had little Christmas Post’?
‘The year Zoom went down due to overloading?’
‘The year we had to leave the family Christmas presents on the front lawn for collection by ‘our bubble’?’

Can you think of any others? Surely, there must be something happy to celebrate?

Dunno about cancelling Christmas, but so far I have seen a card/sweet shop, a tea rooms and a house, with fairy lights up! By the 2nd November. I mean...why??

Probably because some will be closed & some think it won't happen so they are starting early. Not me, I couldn't care less about Christmas.

No doubt I'll be able to take more lights pics as I doubt our two opposite neighbours will stop their rivalry for the most lights & Christmas creatures ever. We had people stopping their cars to look last year & people walking by every evening.

I will still be having Christmas a Longdogs Manor, whatever happens. A big tree, fairy lights inside and out and a nice lunch cooked by his Lordship. Carols in the morning too. I have also bought one of those snow projectors as a surprise for Mrs LD when she wakes up on Christmas morning.

I have already put up some fairy lights in the the house to cheer us up [well me ,lol]
I cannot not , however ,I am just tippy toeing through TBH as we were supposed to be going to DD ,so we will have to see what we have to see.

I wouldn't mind having Christmas decorations up all year round, I love to see my house decorated, it really cheers me up. I love the sound of Christmas too.....................

I wouldn't miss Christmas one bit.

Yesterday in Asda I was winged by a woman running around the store with a Christmas tree sticking out tucked under her arm, two kids in tow and a trolley full of tacky decorations and Christmas crap.

And then at the till she was shoving and pushing to get into the queue. I nearly snarked and snapped at her ... I really did.
