Re: OFF slimming club---open to everyone.

Electric isn't so bad. It took me a while to get used to electric stovetops years ago when I was used to cooking with gas, but I figured the only way for me to get used to them is to jump in and start cooking.

Have you ever considered a stovetop grill? It's a flat griddle that you lay over the hobs and just use the hobs to heat the griddle. You can also buy an electric skillet. They're great, not only for frying, but for roasting as well. Like one of these...

They're not that expensive and they do so much. With these you have temperature control. I love mine.

Yes, I have one of those as well. They're wonderful for grilling chicken and fish and making awesome panini sandwiches.

Good choice!

I love panini sandwiches. Ham & cheese toasties are good, too. Toss some onion and tomato or sweet bell pepper on there to add some goodness.

But yes, those machines are great for grilling chicken, burgers and fish.

I know---I always made a lovely cheese and pickle toastie for me ex BF---not panini---ordinary toasting bread--but they were really good---I think my machine will arrive at the beginning of next week, cant wait to try it...

They're fun little appliances to have. Besides sandwiches and grilling meats, you can also grill vegetables and fruit and make shrimp skewers, eggs, bacon and a bunch of other things.

Here's a cool page with other ideas...

And I'm not sure if the one you ordered does this, but mine opens completely up and lays down so both plates of the press can be used for standard grilling, like this...
