Need the spices and ingredients to make a curry sauce Sweetie darlin.

Curry powder/Garam Masala/Cumin/Coriander/Chilly powder or sauce.

You will also need cream/yoghurt/Cocoanut cream. Blue Dragon make Cocoanut cream in solid blocks - just slice off however much you want/need.

There is a knack to it Sweetie darlin' - you'll just have to practice more to learn the knack of doing it to your own satisfaction.

Or you get yourself a digital pressure cooker.

That doesn't guarantee 'restaurant' quality perfection either.

True. But it more than satisfies us. And that’s the bottom line.

Re: My latest 'Toy'

I had a pressure cooker too. Used to scare me a bit.

I used to make soups and jams in mine. I never used it for things like stews - just 'cos there was nothing like the taste of stews/casseroles done in th'oven over a long period of time.

I must've thrown it away in the end. I often wonder whether to get another, but my eating habits don't really call for one now.

Just remember. This is a pressure cooker with a built in computer! You just add the correct ingredients. The computer will adjust to the correct temperature. Cook for the appropriate time then turn itself off. It can even be set to a preset time to switch on and cook later in the day.

There is a permanently attached rotating pressure valve. The lid is locked during the cooking process.
