A beautiful photo realspeed. It always amazes me how a Robin will patiently wait very close by, either on a fence or actually on the handle of anything you happen to be working with, until you you move away. Then he hops over to the newly dug or swept area to scoff whatever has been brought to the surface.

My wife feeds the wild birds in the garden at first light and there is always a robin waiting for her to take the feeders out for them. He sings so merrily.
