Which courts? The ECJ? The ECHR?

If we are really a sovereign nation, the ECJ has absolutely no control over us. The ECHR is, supposedly, independent of the EU but if, as appears to be the case, they work with the EU against us, we can withdraw from the organisation.

It's all to do with whether or not Boris really want us to leave the EU. He promised it at Christmas, but then backed down and sold us out. I believe that the majority of British people still want our complete independence and sovereignty. So far, people still seem to be trusting Boris, but time will tell.

The point is that if we really want to become an independent nation and throw off the shackles of the EU, which are still holding us back, it is up to us to do so in any way we possibly can.

Yes, l agree it is EU's responsibility to control goods entering their
territory not ours !!
The only thing stopping us from carrying out the rest of your
suggestions seems to be the bulk of the Tory party will not allow it
to happen !!
This has been the case from day one of the Brexit saga imo ??
But, what can be done about it?
We are now back in the same position as we had under Theresa
May! ( almost?)

Well, it's not great is it.

The thing is, as an independent sovereign state we should be putting the UK first not compromising with Brussels all the time. Just tell them to poke it and tear up the TCA they will soon get the message.

EU a discredited mess, they have dug a big hole and still appear to be digging deeper.

Easily sorted by clicking on the "Manage Options" button and setting all of the black buttons to grey. That switches off their capability of using your data.

The ECHR has absolutely no jurisdiction over trade matters or the WA.

Too right, Cinders. When the hole gets deep enough, I hope the whole collapses in on itself.

Yes, that worries me a little that Boris is acting in a similar way to Treason May. He should be careful unless, of course, he has been planning this all along.

IMHO besides the fact that the EU are already deep into that hole I wonder if that hasn't been the government stance all along?
NI/Ireland is a great example which, be honest, no "tinkering around the edges" is going to fix and people on the island will suffer as a direct consequence of EU demands.
As such the government was always going to have the possibility of a strong response opposing the EU which they cannot simply shrug of while maintaining their stance that nobody will be worse-off as a consequence of their actions and still respect the GFA.

Banking union, fiscal union and political union, three things needed in EU, muddling through cannot last much longer.

Ignore it. Ratification of the agreement has still not happened, therefore the agreement is not actually in force.

A good time to withdraw from the arrangement and finally achieve a true Brexit. Enough of these half measures.
