I'm sure that, like everything else, the Frogs will bluster and threaten and then, when they realise their mistake, will back down!
Hi

We do, most of our imports come from them, in particular foodstuffs and parts for our manufacturing industries.

German cars are not an issue, Germany to UK on specialist ships.

Not landed at Dover or the Euro Tunnel.

The Calais Dover Route is vital to us.

In any event, it looks like the Spanish fishermen are going to join forces with the Frogs and possibly start the Armada-2021.

On the other hand, amongst other things, Finland want an aviation deal to be done and BMW is spitting blood because the German car industry looks set to lose between €10 & 11Bn next year in lost trade with the UK ... and all for the sake of a few upstart Frog and now Spanish trawler men, state aid, oh, and a "level playing field".
Oh yes. You, jbr and bread were going on about french and dutch fishing. Never bothered to look who gets the biggest quota, have you?

Those stories about german car sales. Sorry, no cigar. UK car industry? Nissan and toyota want you to pay up for your foolishness to miss the chances to close a frade deal. So there is enough trouble coming your way.

Perhaps so, but if it encourages to buy from sources other than EU suppliers, that's all to the good as far as I'm concerned.

It looks like the Frogs and the Degoes may be upsetting other EU countries more than us!

Donkeyman! 👎👎
In the paper given to barnier the offer was a 3year transition period and reimbursement of fishing rights previously bought.
Compared with before, I would call that a different stance.

Extra sailings will be laid on at eight less-used ports on the east and south coasts of England in a bid to divert traffic away from the Kent ports of Dover and Folkestone – which are expected to be gridlocked.*
Additional services will be provided on nine routes*serving*eight*ports*in areas less likely to experience disruption:*Felixstowe, Harwich,*Hull, Newhaven, Poole, Portsmouth,*Teesport*and Tilbury.
Brittany Ferries, DFDS, P&O Ferries and Stena Line will have the job of ensuring medical supplies and other vital goods continue to get to the UK.
