The beautiful thing about being on forums such as this is that one has time to go away to reflect, perhaps do a bit more research and formulate one's words carefully.Not really possible when talking face to face or by phone, and not really as relatively immediate if one had to rely on pen and paper and the Royal Mail.

Have you ever tried to pick an argument with someone who will not argue? It's impossible without both parties reacting and really annoying too for one person – the one who picks the argument but gets no reaction!
