Songs that stick with you

It's amazing how a tune stays in your head, I watched a film a few days ago and they played one of ELO's numbers, never heard it in years but it's still in my head.

Aren't they called 'earworms'. Think that describes them perfectly - they get in your head and you can't get rid of them

That song always reminds me of one of my afghans, Luke, I used to sing it to him and I called him Blue Boy, or just Blue, he was actually black masked gold! I always think of him when I hear it.

One of the adverts song "Its getting better everyday"-once I hear it it stays in my head-problem is I could hear it a number of times and it drives me mad

For me it's usually one that I'd heard on the CD player before I went up to bed; woke up this morning with the Highwaymen's Marching to Pretoria in my head, and it won't go away!
