Waitrose today:

Duck breasts, an old favourite, and now they no longer seem to do Duchy but something better. Two for less than a fiver.

Burgers with caramelised onion ... taste good but pan and utensils get a bit sticky.

White sourdough bread: very tasty, and it's the first time we've bought white in decades.

I don't eat a lot of meat these days, mainly chicken but I do have the odd sausage. I'm not a fan of the better quality, chunky sausages with thick skins, so these are ideal for me. I reckon you could sneak one of these into a sausage roll and no one would know the difference.

We don't eat much meat nowadays ... have the occasion sausage or burger, not impressed by high percentage of meat ingredients.

I must say I struggle with supermarket vegi- burgers/sausages ... the list of ingredients is a bit off-putting. But I find making my own hard work.

Oh they are my daughter's favourite veggie sausages.

Or perhaps you were not impressed that your wife said the little willies were the best she'd ever had
