It was only the other day that I realised that the crockery (plates, bowls. cups & saucers) that we have in our cupboard was all made in China.....However; We bought them in 1973 after we moved into our bungalow almost 47 years ago....
And I must admit I didn't realise the Chinese were supplying us with goods so long ago. Whatever; It's been brilliant crockery and is oven safe and is still going strong.....Brilliant quality....

Actually it is interesting that they were so pleased with their invention of china, bone china, porcelain etc that they never went on to invent glass which in the long term actually held them back (window glass, lenses etc)
