My Niece and her son's Covid tests have just come back positive.

They live in the Lombardy region of Northern Italy.

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

Does anyone on the site actually know anyone who has actually died from coronavirus?

Ive had it,i had T cells, antibodies, tested when tested monthly blood tests for underlying health conditions! Yes,it was bad,5 days of feeling like i was dying, but didnt end up in hospital!

Apparently, hundreds dying each day!

So every other vehicle on the road is a hearse? Not noticed any!

Re: Chinese Coronavirus

There seems to be a fluctuation in the number of deaths each day. I'm thinking that if all the reported figures for a particular day don't arrive on time, then they will be added onto the next days figures. It must be quite a task receiving and compiling all the figures from the UK each day. They can't even count all the election votes overnight, and there are tens of thousands of people working through the night. I accept that computers will be more widely used in Covid statistics, but even so! Perhaps a more accurate way of understanding the figures would be better using a weekly average....

The government website provides a 7-day rolling average - here's an example:
