The race issues raised by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "concerning" and will be addressed by the family privately, Buckingham Palace has said.

The statement said: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately."
Of course, those who feel similarly victimised will want more, like a grovelling apology, but, IMO, a restrained acknowledgement to unproven allegations is sufficient. If the "race issues" should remain unproven then all titles should be stripped from "Manipulative" Markle.

I still don’t get why Meghan and Harry were so cross about somebody asking what colour the new baby would be. I think all families discuss what their expected baby will look like. Will they have Dad’s sticky out ears, Mum’s thick wavy hair, olive skin from grandad, Grandma’s long pianist fingers.

My friend is sandy haired with absolutely the palest skin. She used to burn terribly when we were kids and worried when she was pregnant that her kids would suffer like she did but they took after their Dad who tanned very easily.

It’s natural to wonder and ask questions.
