Old Age

Apparently, old age is when your joints sound like rice crispies each time you move on the sofa to get the remote control.

Does that sound familiar or not yet?

Smoked for 50 years.
Continue to drink more booze than Dean Martin in his heyday.
Pop more heavy-duty pain meds than the doc prescribes.
Have had a life-long allergy to any form of exercise.
Miles overweight and eat like a pig.

70 years old and going strong ......................

Re: Old Age

I had both my thumbs operated on before I reached 60, left hand one stuck back on at a bit of an odd angle. The nuts, bolts and screws in my left arm and shoulder click and creak quite nicely and now I have a "dodgy" knee too, which is somewhat of a nuisance. Mr Clumsy also has bad knees and has had more xrays, scans and measurements taken than I can remember but due to more life threatening operations at the hospital he keeps having to start all over again. He also has "clicky, sticking" fingers and has an appointment with the specialist on 4th September. All good fun if you can handle it !
