..... but if l only married one legally, never divorced him and went on to marry another 5. I would be illegally ‘married’ to the remaining 5.... wouldn’t l?

I was a late starter and married my Lovely Cousin when I was nearly thirty. She was still a teenager at the time.We have been happily married ever since and have lived in the same house since our wedding day.
Next week will be the forty-sixth anniversary of the day we met, and the week after will be our thirty-eighth wedding anniversary.
There will be cake.

I have been married twice .My first husband the husband of my youth died last year of covid .
I grieved for him and his troubled later life and tried to remember when we were young and happy living out on the pampas we were married for 22 years .
I have been married to my second husband for 23 years .
) 
I love my independence.
