I don't feel sorry for anybody (especially celebrities who are up their own arse !) who takes hard street drugs.

You have 2 choices... say yes or no.

If you have beautiful children who you love dearly you don't even go there !

I can't understand why Peaches would take such drugs after what happened to her mother, you'd think she would have learned from that and stayed well away from them especially when she had children of her own and knew how it felt to lose a parent

It seems selfish but addiction seems to run in families he damage moves through the generations damaging people each time. It's the same with many behaviours both good and bad I believe. It's incredible strength to break the cycle.

Every time an addict takes a hit and survives, it quite possibly increases their feeling of invulnerability, giving them the belief that somehow it will not severely affect them?

And now we all know, it was an overdose, she was addicted to both heroin and slimming pills (probably a form of speed, thus uppers and downers) and police have admitted that there was paraphernalia at the scene.

As she was also on Methadone it is possible that it was the combination of the two that caused the overdose.

What I fail to understand is how no-one could see the trouble she was in. Her extreme weight loss, her pallor, the dead look in her eyes, all were obvious to anyone who could see, and yet husband, friends, family failed to spot the signs. I think more than anything it is this I find saddest.
