Re: More Roses

Thanks again all.

The repeat flowers are having a rest at the mo, after their first flush of blooms, but will try and show you some other colours when they rebloom.

Re: More Roses

One of my lovely 'EarthWalker' Sunflowers I grow every year, because I used to grow them for my Mum.

A couple of early Dahlias.
This one is called 'Totally Tangerine.'

This one is 'Juliette'. I love the dark leaved ones.

Some of my Penstemons.
I took a load of cuttings from them and pleased to see they are ready to plant out now.

Re: More Roses

Lovely display of flowers Mups, I’ve never seen a Sunflower that colour before, very different.

The Penstemons are beautiful, were they all from cuttings?

Re: More Roses

Thankyou Mags.

The Sunflower's are the variety called 'Earthwalker'.

T & M do them, so do lots of other places.
I think i even saw some seed in our local B&Q gardening

I like them as a change from the yellow ones, plus they get quite a lot of nice bushy heads, and also they dont grow too tall - only about 5-6ft at the most.
I grow mine in pots.

The Penstemons i grew from seed a couple of years ago, and liked them, so took some cuttings to have a few more. I should have planted the cuttings out by now, its on me ' to do ' list.

Re: More Roses

A few more flowers taken today.

Superbum daisies are out again.

My Salix tree and the beautiful rose next to it, called Mortimer Sackler.

Last one. Pity it's blurry, it is a beautiful Dahlia - Sam Hopkins it's called.

Earthwalker Sunflower is gorgeous! I haven't seen one so dark like that before, it looks like it is made from weathered wood! Also Superbum daisies? I want to be a flower namer! What a great job. I love your garden, Mups, its beautiful!

Thanks very much Pixie.
Not bad, considering I have a houseful of dogs trampling over it.
