My class photo aged 11, 1977.

There were around 25-30 pupils to a class.I'm third from the right at the back. There was no dress code at school but pupils (or their parents could choose a school tie for their offspring if they wanted).

I misbehaved a lot, and was sent to the headmaster for a ruler on the back of my knuckles regularly. Our school was quite large and had its its own swimming pool. There was even point to point.

What struck me was that I could remember people from what they were wearing as much as from their faces.

I used to fancy Sharon - third from the left at the front. But I was out of luck as half the school fancied her.

I'm sure there was a class photo for every year of primary school, but this is the only one I've been able to unearth.

I remember Mrs Chisholm - she was a good teacher. There was very little bullying going on at Primary School - that came with the move to Secondary.

Thanks for sharing Ffosse, do you know what happened to them all, or have you lost touch?

I wish we would have had a group photo taken of our schooldays....I only have a Bible signed by most of my friends and a few teachers. It still brings back memories when I read the names....The good old days.....

You must still be quite young now, if you were 11 in 1977, i'd already left Secondary School and was working.

So how old are you now? about 54?
