Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Hope you had a good birthday Jac.

Wonderful day for drying the washing. Did some towels and they've come in all fluffy! Lovely. Have fed the family and washed up, just going up to get changed now.

Craft club this evening.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a good lunch yesterday and my daughter and s-I-l turned up with a birthday cake and toffee sauce for me and the waitress was good enough to give us all a bowl of ice cream to go with it--delish and she got a good tip lol.
Sun is shining at the moment and Tesco has been . They sent a bottle of whisky down last week with security gadget on it so sent another one down later . The lad told me this morning he had also refunded the £16 for my trouble. Cant be bad xxx

Its really sunny here again.I've had to close the curtain because sun is shining directly on me .
Had a really confused night because of the clocks . I put them back before I went to bed. I was going to watch X factor on plus one but must have fallen asleep to wake at 1 AM and I decided it was lunch time even though pitch dark LOL Saw the clock go around every hour after that

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Couldn't get to sleep last night, but most of my clocks are radio controlled now and reset themselves so didn't worry about them! (Still had to wrestle with my wristwatch this morning and I don't usually bother with the car clock, just wait six months and it's right again).

Great day out at our local YFC's Tractor Run, this year in memory of one of the Club leaders who died very suddenly and far too young. Beautiful day and 110 tractors, all shapes and sizes turned out. Quite a sight to see them all turning out of the field and off down the road.

Glad to be home in the warm now, feet up and TV on.
