Hi

That is very true Judd.

It is the same where I live now, no chance of flooding, but a much shorter walk to the River.

The Barnett Formulae will go, but Scotland will have the Oil and Gas and 80% of the Fisheries.

Interesting Times.

Scottish ports land 64% of the total UK catch.

Fishing is far more important to Scotland than England/rUK.

At present Scotland produces about 80% of hydrocarbon production of the UK
.

Again, a significant Scottish industry with many years production still to exploit.

Re: What if Scotland got their independence?

Of course there is another way of looking at it.

How about independence for ENGLAND?

How about if England opted out of the UK leaving these pettifogging little places such as Scotland and Wales to sort out their ongoing relationships with each other and leave us to ourselves?

Would work for me.
