Hi -- no apology necessary Bratti -- I lived in Canada for many years - in Ontario and then spent a few years in beautiful Newfoundland -- now back in UK in North Yorkshire.

Yes Newfoundlanders are very friendly lovely folk - and I have many friends there. Love beautiful St. John's- travel back as often as I can but not for about two years now - and up around Twillingate.

Yes Besoeker -- it does get VERY cold and lots of snow in Newfoundland - but beautiful with it. Can snow even as late as May/early June!!

Stunning scenery too.

I’d forgotten about this. All beautiful places I’ve been to and lived in. Well two of them. One was a visit and while I totally enjoy people from Newfoundland, I’m not sure if I could live there.
