To me, until lately, Ben Stokes was only famous for beating up some men outside a nightclub and having to go on trial.
Then his brilliant cricketing skills helped us to win the the World Cup/ Ashes recently.

Then this. Talk about the rug being pulled from beneath you!

Whatever is posted here or what opinions people hold it doesn't change the fact that sensationalist stories such as this sell more newspapers. More newspapers sold means more money for the company and this pays the wage reporters receive. If reporters have no scruples and will report such stories in this appalling way then that's between him / her and their conscience.

What does not appear to have been reported though, is why this story was revealed after all this time, it didn't just appear out of thin air. There was some talk of a daughter from the first marriage revealing this. She hasn't seen her mother since the tragic murders of the two children and their father taking his own life. If that is the case, and that is what was reported, then why did she do this and if she did then what was the motive for doing so? If it was not as reported and she did not reveal this this then who did and why? I feel we are not being told the whole story, there's something not quite right about it.

The Express is the only paper that gives accurate and unbiased news.About dinosaurs on Mars, anyway.

There have been plenty of libel cases against the Time, Observer, Guardian and Telegraph too, Tara. They all know that sensationalism sells papers. Right or wrong, it's business sense.

Turns out it was a Sun story that was just picked up by the rest of the media, so maybe you'd like to change the title of the thread and curse all of the media instead?
