Re: Cooking smell
When we bought our first house in Milton Keynes years ago, HWMO and I used to have to commute into London for our jobs. We would leave in the mornings at 7 am and get back home at 7 pm. Naturally, the Slow Cooker would be working overtime 5 days a week (Neighbour would go in and turn it on at 11 am every day), when it was freezing cold, atrocious travelling conditions and feeling really tired, the lovely aroma of a cooked Beef or Chicken Casserole, or other dishes that had been slowly cooking all day, was a really welcome home as we opened the front door, it never failed to perk us up.
