RS you are perfectly entitled to be disgusted at whatever you want to be disgusted with. And God knows there are more than enough things..and people around these days to be disgusted with. If you have the energy. But what one does with one's camera (the camera itself that is, not the pictures it may take) whether it was won, bought or found on a tip, is pretty far down my list of things to be disgusted with.

Times are hard for many people at this time. Maybe he/she wanted the camera but needed money more. It's a silly thing for someone else to get angry over and flinging terms like "vile" around is even sillier.

I remember, as a kid, entering a competition, "Win a pony or a puppy" I think it was a Kellogs thing.
If I'd won the pony, which I hoped for, there's no way I could've kept it!
