Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Grey day here. Started with a bit of a panic, the tube that Rob is fed through started leaking so had to change the bit of kit on the end. Completely forgotten that a spare one had been delivered but after an emergency phone call to the nurse who trained the carers managed to get it sorted. Phew!

Getting together an order for Asda delivery next Tuesday, but may need to go for veg or bread before that. Trying to be extra careful atm, the news is depressing isn't it?

Hope you have the use of both arms shortly Rhosyn. My flu jab is booked for 6th Oct.

Washing machine delivered by two guys, masked and hooded and didn't speak! Just like aliens.....

Wet and soggy and central heating seems to be playing up. Always something going wrong..... (moaning Minnie) Sorry folks.

Ye Gods, I'm worn out. Wrestling with sheets and duvet covers on the line in a gale. Sun is shining but it's bitterly cold with the wind. But at this rate the washing should be dry in about an hour!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Managed to get my Asda order done - after a bit of a panic when the site wouldn't accept my new debit card. Lovely day, though cold in the wind. More washing dried. Went over to youngest son's place to inspect the painting in the new upstairs (!) and came home with loads of apples. Cooked up the crab apples and they are now draining through the muslin for crab apple jelly. Will finish that off tomorrow. Off now to Groesvaen for supper (scammpi and chips) yum!
