My brother was born on Christmas eve. He never used to get much in the way of pressies.

Never mind the kids I have been having a Christmas Eve birthday for more years than I care to remember - at first I felt special because everyone was celebrating and I hadn't noticed that I never got as many presents as people with birthdays at a decent interval from Christmas, and that no one could be bothered to get birthday paper! Then I tried very hard to get an Official Birthday in another, summery month like the Queen but no joy. And now Christmas just draws my attention to how much older I'm getting! How I wish mum and dad had got it together at a different time of year when they decided to have a late arrival!

I'm a Christmas Eve baby and I never had any celebration at all throughout my childhood..

Perhaps intercourse should be banned for Christians from the beginning of March until the end of April. That would solve the problem.

A big build up, lots of aggro, lots of money....and in a few hours its all over and done. Christmas is something I could really do without.

Christmas day is my niece's birthday, and New Years Eve is my son's. My birthday is also December and Mum & Dad's wedding anniversary used to be 21st Dec. So with Christmas as well, December can be quite costly.
I find it best to buy cards for these occasions before October else they often seem to get put away to make room for Christmas cards.
