No, she's a proper "Becky Down The Lane" girl.

That's someone who is an archetypal Yiddish girl/woman who retains much of "the old country" in everything she does. Her parents even more so.

Staunchly loyal to her family, whenever she speaks well of someone she always adds "bless her/him" or in the case of her husband always starts with or ends with "the bastard".

And so very much more!

Re: Treasure finders

I can't understand why they took the hoard, no way could they have sold any of it. Even if they's had the gold melted down I'm sure someone would have known it was ancient gold & investigated.
The sentences were harsh for what they did though & some if not all has been recovered.

It one of the most significant historic finds ever and now is lost .
There are some things more important than making a quick buck you know.

That's true but, as folks get older, it is harder to remember them.

That's the trouble with ageing, one can still sit on the fence but, it tends to cut deeper into the buttock.

Indeed ..... information gleaned from those finds would have considerably enhanced historians' knowledge of the period .....

The greedy "detectorists" are thieves and philistines, who, AFAIC, can rot in jail .....
