The Fireworks have started

Hi

Two huge bangs mark the start of the evening.

I do feel sorry for those with animals that are frightened, a long night ahead for them.

Not too bad here yet, I have 8 little girls making so much noise Elsie labrador hasn't noticed the noise outside.

Max is my constant companion. I walk, he walks. Except when there are fireworks. Today was such a day. We were on a long walk and there was a loud bang. He stopped and sat down, ears laid back, the whites of his eyes showing. He wouldn't move until I went back the way we came.

One lot of fireworks here a few doors away already. I think they must have young grandkids there so they can get them home & to bed.
All hell will break loose at midnight I expect.

He's a good boy.Our's just takes off and if she wasn't on a lead would be miles away in minutes.

Sorry that Max was upset by the fireworks. It really isn't fair on the animals. Amber does not seem to mind too much. They have been going off intermittently all evening across the road.
