Try doing jury service in a crown court, I have and an eye opener as to proceedure etc

I enjoyed it, as you say, an eye opener.

It taught me never to judge a book by its cover, I had the accused down as guilty as soon as I saw him, boy was I proved wrong and on so many counts.
