Protests continue in hundreds of cities across the U.S.As I write, I am watching the protests in downtown San Diego.
Thousands of protestors have gathered and the police are firing tear gas, pepper spray and "flash-bangs.
From what I can see, about 90% of the protestors are white.
They carry such signs as : "Can you hear us, NOW ?". "I can't breathe". "Justice for George".
Yesterday protestors blocked traffic on the super busy interstate highway for several hours until they were forced off by police.

So how many do you think are just cheesed off with Trump? He's having a bumpy ride but I bet he gets re-elected anyway because who is the competition?

I think the protests have little or nothing to do with Trump.
Prior to the Covid-19 epidemic, I supported Trump. Now, after hearing an endless series of stupid remarks by Trump, I oppose him. His idiotic remarks embarrass me. Injecting bleach ?
My God, even a moron knows better than that.

With the murder of George Floyd, America reached a tipping point. The anger and frustration have been building within the black communities for decades. I see no way that the protests and or riots are going to stop anytime soon. REFORM on a national scale is what is neededFirst and foremost, a total ban on any type of chokehold and/or pressure on the neck. This is a favorite tactic used by U.S. cops. Many have died as a result. Especially among the black communities by white cops.
2nd, no striking the head of a suspect by cops unless the situation is totally out of control and a police officer is in immanent danger of losing his life. The tired old refrain of "I feared for my life" and we were forced to shoot him 27 times, is no longer an excuse.

Not so long ago, a cop shot a black teenager, 12 times, who was accused of stealing a candy bar. No charges were ever brought against that cop.
The current situation is merely the tip of the iceberg. The black community has been pushed too far and IMO only reacting in self defense.
