FINALLY.... the day shall be met with a very quiet memorial service and that's it.. None of the major newspapers had a picture of the burning towers on the front page... for the first time since. I'm glad.. Of course we will never forget it.. but geez... we need to stop dwelling on it. A moment of silence and move on with the day. No TV coverage replaying the event over and over and over and over.... Depressing.. I'm sick of politicians beginning each sentence with a nown... a verb....and 9/11

I agree Audrey we sometimes need to not forget but to move on and keep replaying things sometimes just doesn't help anyone.

This is the kind of topic I feel reluctant to comment upon as if doing so might invite further trouble. Feel a bit uneasy writing this in fact. Lets just hope nothing of the like happens again.

It will happen again.. Why wouldn't it? There are even MORE extremists hating the west than in 2001.. Bush saw to that. We have expanded our surveilance to try to thwart planned attacks.. BUT.. look at the ballyhoo that has caused.. Ed Snowden and Greenwald. SO.. I guess we shall have to cut back... You think there won't be more attacks?
