Re: How often do you look at the clock and notice that it is 11:11?

It's certainly strange and I can't find a rational explanation. The fact that so many people (going by a Google search) have noticed this too at least shows me that I'm not going crazy.

The last time I noticed 11.11 was a few nights ago when the ISS was sighted

I can't say I have noticed 11:11 but certainly 09:11. I often see this when looking at my wall clock or the clock in my car. I'm not sure if I am just more aware of it for obvious reasons.

Has anyone noticed that sometimes when you look at an analogue clock or watch, the hands appear to not be moving, just for a second, then they start up again?

That could be an age-related thing with the optical nerve taking a fraction of a second longer to register things. Or I could be talking rubbish.

No, I haven't noticed it; the seconds window hand on my watch is always working.

The only clock in my house is the one on the computer - and I hardly ever look at that.

I don't remember this ever happening. The only times I pay much attention to the clock is when I am getting ready to go out or waiting for the end of the working day. Perhaps that's why I am always slightly late. I always think there is more time.

I never really notice the clock on my computer, either. Perhaps because there is a real clock visible from my seat. I don't notice it on my phone unless I'm setting an alarm.
