I will be having all the Christmassy stuff, sweets, chocolates nuts, crisps etc plus the normal meals. I will be the size of a house by Thursday but plan to work it off over the next thirty years.

Since making lifestyle changes 2 years ago I feel better sticking to healthy foods.

I have made some thyme/red onion/goats cheese tarts to have with salad for lunch tomorrow then a concession to christmas damson jelly made with damsons picked last summer and cream.

Tea at my sons will be a cold table with bread/cheeses/olives and fruit they are having a Christmas dinner today of duck so tomorrow will be a relaxed day with no cooking and playing games.

I hope you manage to have a plesent day Ffosse and to enjoy some food....x
Thanks I've got some Damson jam I made not that long ago so I will have that later.

Re: Is anyone else not changing their diet over the festive period?

I.ve lost a lot of weight over the past 18 months through healthy eating and lots of exercise but today I m having a festive treat of:

Creamed mash potatoes
Crispy roast potatoes done in pork fat
Pigs in blankets
Sprouts tossed in bacon and onion cream sauce
Carrots
Chicken wrapped in bacon
Stuffing
Small Yorkshire pudding
Gravy

Homemade trifle to finish

Chocolates, crisps and peanuts to snack on

Definitely changed my diet but back to the healthy diet from tomorrow.

Merry Christmas Ffosse and all xx

Oh heck yes, I am changing my diet! Chocolates, champagne, cheeses, fondue and every other sinful delight will be enjoyed to the nth degree.

Why else would it be worth running zillion miles a year?
