I thought your introduction was pitched about right.
We often get new members who seem to be very reticent about who they are or what they do.
There a bunch of good folks on here and you have already been given good advice. Keep the questions/responses coming.

Look in 'Control Panel' and select 'email options'...
You can tick the box 'Instant email Subscription Mode'...Simples.....
