Time Difference

Hi

Awake, been talking to Guy on Skype.

It is the morning for him, middle of the night for me.

I was drifting off to sleep.

I heard one of the lads getting up for a wee.

Then chaos, thundering down the stairs and out of the front
door.

A couple of scumbags trying to break into the van.

Derek is 6ft 2inch and Ex Military.

The scumbags will not be coming back in a hurry.

Far more effective than calling the Police.

It could have taken hours for them to respond.

Off to sleep now, secure in the knowledge we will be left alone now.

Yep I would be tempted to do the same. Although these days if you hurt one of those bastards you can end up the one in trouble. I can relate to the time difference thing. I used to belong to an online chess club. Most of the people I played were in Europe or North/South America. My sleep pattern got so out of whack I had to quit.

That's because you pommie bastards sleep during the best part of the day and don't get up until sensible civilised people are having their evening meal. I have to ring my brother in Macclesfield at absurd times of the evening because he is asleep during the day.

I chat to my pal in America on FB. She is 5 hours behind us. Luckily she gets up early.
