I can't wait in fact.
The OFF is not entirely meaningless Floydy, l believe the
powers that be are influenced by the feedback they gather
from forums like this, and hopefully things will change!
And anyway you cant give the forum up because you enjoy
it and we have got used to you!

Hi

Good Luck to Zara.

I wish someone had given me a job like that.

The alternative to a monarchy such as Britain has is not communism or socialism, it is a republic.
What sort of republic?

The list of republics, by type, is a long and diverse one:

2.2 Confederal republics
2.3 Crowned republics

Floydy I was not criticizing you, I was merely pointing out that people could think that about you, ,if they had just read limited details about how much you earned & knew you used a forum during your time at work. ( That is why I added that I know you work hard). All I was pointing out is that none of us know what the royals, who were mentioned, had to do to earn that money!

I know you dislike the royals, but I think some of them are hard working, so I like to be fair. It isn't their fault that they were born into a rich family & I am sure none of us would turn down payment of £100K if somebody offered it for a relatively small job, so why begrudge them?

They can think what they like, Twink but they have absolutely no idea how hard I work. I work extremely hard at my job and I do it well. Nobody has EVER criticised my work, especially people who don't even work with me...not to mention somebody who doesn't even KNOW me personally.
I've always got along very well with you on here, Twink but on this occasion you were very misguided in what you said. Never judge a book by the cover, read a person first. And the only way you can do that is by knowing them in real life. It sounds like you're on here too much, not me. You need to regain touch with reality like all those who only post in the Games and Political threads. Understood?

Yes, Donkeyman, I've definitely had enough of these keyboard warriors and I don't need this pathetic tittle-tattle in the General thread anymore. I'll stick top the more serious forums thank you very much.

I don't think that your personal problems, such as they may be, have any place in this thread and I don't think trying to intimidate other posters does you any credit.

As I said, I was not criticizing you, just pointing out how easily people can get the wrong message from newspaper headlines or comments on a forum. That is what happened when you read my post!
This isn't the first time you have misunderstood the point of my posts, but I don't get angry, I just put it down to you misunderstanding what I said. I never criticize members here, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with them.

You implied that I was on the forum all night instead of doing any work, Twink. It's there in your post.
