Can I suggest you donate to your local homeless shelter. I have never been homeless in my life (so far) and the mere thought of it makes me shudder. I volunteer at my town shelter sometimes and although it gives me satisfaction to lend a hand I always come away feeling very lucky. 99% of the people there are always so appreciative of having somewhere safe to get off the street for a while. Those who aren't are 99% of the time mentally ill. It's one of the most poorly funded places I can think of. But they feed many homeless people and keep a lot of them from going right to the bottom. With the help of donations they always get by..just. I say help them.

Why don't you just tell us Tara. I'm sure it will be something designed to wind us all up, something like £10,000 to African migrants or something like that.
